About the Role

The Opportunity:

As part of the Gold Fields Graduate Program, you will complete rotations across four sites over a two-year period, including Agnew, Granny Smith, Gruyere, St Ives, and (where relevant) the Perth office. Throughout the program, you’ll work alongside members of our highly experienced technical team, gaining hands-on exposure to the gold mining environment. You’ll develop and demonstrate a set of core competencies, ensuring well-rounded capability across all key areas. This program offers genuine, real-world mining experience and the opportunity to see how your foundational university studies translate into practice.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current manual driver’s licence.
  • Completed your Tertiary Qualification in Community Development, Social Performance, Social Impact / Science, Indigenous Studies, Stakeholder Management (or similar) by end 2026.
  • Vacation experience in a mining environment is ideal, but not essential.

  • Support the operational delivery of Gold Fields social performance strategy, including social investment, stakeholder engagement and host community participation programs and initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and management of native title agreement commitments, including cultural heritage management, cultural learning and key relationship management activities and agreement compliance system requirements.
  • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with key community stakeholders, fostering meaningful partnerships and long-term collaboration to deliver shared value for host communities.
