Business Unit/ Role Specific Info

American Express’s Global Business Integration & Transformation ( GBIT ) team is part of the broader Customer Fulfillment Network ( CFN ) organization operating within Global Account Processing Network ( GAPN ), provides global support to Customer Fulfillment Network. CFN is responsible for managing all transaction processing and fulfillment functions for Global Servicing ( GS ), and interacts extensively with all other parts of GS such as Customer Engagement Network, Commercial and Merchant Services.

How will you make an impact in this role?

This role will require working with teams in all parts of the world and is responsible for providing data support to GBIT leadership in terms of data insights to identify transformation opportunities. Additionally, the analyst will participate in and leads cross-functional teams to develop, deliver business requirements for technology solutions and supports the development of Cost-Benefit analysis, Project/Program updates and application performance scorecards.

Job responsibilities :

  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to achieve results and enact wide-scale impact.
  • Drive project progress by managing relationships with stakeholders, identifying opportunities and obstacles /risks, and ensuring deliverables are optimally executed.
  • Support technology-centered projects that enable CFN to transition to new tools or systems
  • Analyze large quantities of information, identify trends and opportunities, and articulate clear and concise solution recommendations to a variety of partners
  • Demonstrate a keen attention to detail in investigation, analysis and writing

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, implement innovation and change
  • Proven ability to build and leverage relationships, strong presentation and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels across the organization
  • Proven ability to analyze large volumes of data, identify critical information and present clear findings
  • Exposure on Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency

     

     

     

Additional Information:

  • Location: Kuala Lumpur

  • Starting Date: April - July (Flexible)

  • Duration: 3 - 6 Months

  • Hours: Full time

  • Year of study: Bachelors - penultimate or final year of study

 

This internship requires you to be available for a period of 6 months
