What is the Dive In program?

Dive In is an introductory program for students who are curious about commercial law and inspired by challenge. It’s designed to give you a genuine insight into life at Allens - how we think, how we work, and the standards we set for ourselves.

Through interactive workshops and conversations with our lawyers, you’ll explore different areas of practice, develop practical legal skills, and test your thinking on real‑world problems. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, share perspectives and take initiative - because that’s how learning happens here.

The program is an opportunity to build confidence, deepen your understanding of commercial law, and take meaningful steps towards shaping your future.

As a Dive In participant, you will:

  • Engage with our partners and lawyers to gain insight into their careers and the realities of working on complex, high‑impact matters.

  • Take part in tailored workshops designed to build the core skills and ways of thinking essential for a career in commercial law.

  • Receive practical guidance to help you navigate early career choices with confidence and intent.

  • Learn more about our clerkship and graduate programs, and what we look for in people who thrive at Allens.
