 CapitaLand Development (CLD) is the development arm of CapitaLand Group. About the internship 

As a Communications Intern at CapitaLand Development (CLD), you will gain hands-on experience in shaping the narratives behind some of Asia’s most iconic real estate projects. From corporate communications and media engagement, to digital content creation and brand storytelling, you will be involved in telling stories that support CLD as a Developer of Choice. You will get to work closely with teams across various business units and regional markets, gaining valuable exposure to how communications supports large-scale developments and building strong professional connections along the way. This internship will help you build a strong portfolio, develop strategic thinking and deepen your understanding of communications in a regional context. 

 

What You Will Get to Do 

  • Draft and edit communications materials – media releases, factsheets, award submissions, social media posts, and more 

  • Support media outreach and research story angles for press coverage, with opportunities to pitch coverage to media directly 

  • Assist in planning and curating social media content for platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc  

  • Participate in content production – including photo/video shoot planning, scripting, and reviewing edits 

  • Monitor media and social media performance, and assist with reporting 

  • Update and manage content on our corporate website 

  • Be part of team brainstorms, project meetings, and cross-functional discussions, where your ideas and input are welcomed and valued 

 

What We Are Looking For 
 

  • Strong written and spoken English (writing test will be required) 

  • Interest in storytelling, branding and digital trends 

  • Familiar and/or possess prior experience with content production or social media tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite) 

  • Independent learner who is proactive, organised and detail-oriented 

  • Team player with good coordination and time management skills 

  • Able to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
