About the Role

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will create high-quality, cohesive design deliverables that prioritize user experience while balancing creativity with business objectives.

The Impact You’ll Drive :

  • Understanding and implementation of the standard processes and principles of design, color theory, typography, and graphic file creation optimized for digital and print

  • Demonstrate customer-centric judgment in day-to-day design decisions, acting as an advocate for a quality customer experience

  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of how to edit and retouch photos and/or composite multiple images to produce a product-centric final image

  • Follow procedures for populating the DAM (Digital Asset Management) system

  • Ability to upload and tag content with appropriate metadata tags to facilitate in a robust searching tool for stakeholders

  • Willingness to think creatively to improve upon the current system

  • Create content and social media assets to supplement marketing campaigns

  • Optimize evergreen social media content for different channels/audiences

  • Ensures creative deliverables are completed and adhere to the various ODL family of brand style guides

  • Other design duties as assigned

What Sets You Up for Success

  • An online portfolio demonstrating elevated visual design skills, including an eye for color, composition, layout, and typography

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a bachelor's degree in graphic design or similar field

  • Proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac OS

  • Desire to work in a corporate, B2B graphic design environment

  • Ability to work on time-sensitive issues, meet deadlines, and balance multiple priorities

  • Background in Digital Asset technologies and efficiencies preferre

  • Understanding of the millwork industry a plus

  • Web design experience a plus

The successful candidate will be action-oriented, proactive in seeking clarification and feedback, and able to justify design decisions effectively. They will contribute to process improvements within the team while consistently delivering high-quality, development-ready deliverables.
