To strengthen our Supply Chain Management team, we are looking for candidates for the position of Procurement Assistant for our Global Supply Chain Team. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our new GBS center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Supply Chain Team Leads to run the Supply Chain department 
  • Working closely with Buyers and Senior Buyers to assist in purchase orders placement (analysis, data collection)
  • Provide support in checking deliveries against purchase orders to ensure that all materials have arrived intact and in the ordered quantity
  • Manage the creation of new vendors in the Approved Supplier List in due coordination with Buyers and with a commercial pillar to ensure compliance with sourcing strategies
  • Provide support in resolving issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices in due coordination with Accounts Payable
  • Closely collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Report your achievements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Provide additional support where required to provide the best possible service to our internal and external customers
  • Other tasks delegated by Manager and Team Leader

 

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

  • Status as a student (bachelor or master in business administration, management, economy, philology or highly technical areas)
  • Fluency (written and spoken) in English. Language ability is critical when interfacing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Availability to work min 20-30 hours a week
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, team-player spirit
  • Good analytical skills with an eye for details
  • Systematic, open minded, reliable person
  • Ability to multitask, proactively identify and solve issues
