POSITION SUMMARY

The Commercialization Intern will gain an understanding of the commercialization project management processes in new item launches by supporting artwork development, timeline creation, and portfolio assessments. This internship offers experience in cross functional coordination and communication through project management methodologies. 


Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the development of project timelines based on project scope and requirements.
  • Support the planning, tracking, and execution of new products or seasonal items.
  • Assist with artwork development through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Contribute to the delivery of short-term business objectives through special projects.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Technology or similar field. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in consumer products, innovation, and project management.
  • Available 15–20 hours/week during business hours.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in product development, project management, or business operations.
  • Passion for food, beverages, and new item introductions.
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing processes

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.

 

FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.

 

OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.

 

VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.

 

HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
