About the Role

AHCA/NCAL is seeking a Summer Intern to help further the organization’s mission to improve lives by delivering solutions for quality care. This role will support the Integrated Networks department by providing general administrative and operational support to the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Junior or Senior college student preferred. Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business Management or related major preferred, or applicable coursework. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support data accuracy and maintenance across PON networks, including updates to CMS star ratings, rural/urban classifications, EMR vendor information, and other provider data elements.
  • Assist with data validation and quality checks across internal network tracking tools.
  • Research payer portals, CMS resources, and public databases to verify facility information.
  • Support the team with credentialing preparation activities, including gathering and organizing documentation needed for payer submissions.
  • Perform data entry and updates related to provider participation, network status, and facility information. Help review and organize network documentation.
  • Provider general administrative and operational support for the Integrated Networks Team.
  • Other duties as assigned.


The internship will last for eight weeks starting after the Memorial Day Holiday and pays $20/hour.
