About The Company
The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at Ohio Wesleyan's mission is to create a collaborative, innovative, and imaginative space that facilitates value creation and professional development. The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at OWU is housed at 70 S. Sandusky St. and includes rentable office spaces, a shared work area for center members, a conference center with digital meeting capabilities, and educational programming to support entrepreneurial understanding and success. Center members have access to Ohio Wesleyan student-interns, through The OWU Connection, for assistance with product research, marketing strategies, budgeting, graphic design – and other needs to help them build their businesses. The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at OWU is the nation’s first such collaboration among a small liberal arts university and the surrounding city and county. About the Role

Legacy Internship Program

The Legacy Internship Program gives legacy students the opportunity to apply for internships in various academic departments and offices on the Ohio Wesleyan campus. The internships allow students to build marketable skills and add internship experiences to their resumes. Legacy internships are open to legacy students only meaning that you have had a family member graduate from OWU. Learn more about the program Here.


Steps to Apply:

Complete the Legacy Internship Program Google application. You will review and select internship positions to apply to and upload a resume in the Google application.

The Legacy Internship Program follows a strict timeline. This is the final step in submitting your application.


Student Eligibility:

  • The minimum cumulative GPA requirement is 2.5.
  • Students are permitted to work a maximum of 6 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters; students are not permitted to work over break periods or during exam week.
  • Students are able to work 1 additional on-campus job with a legacy Internship, however, they are not permitted to work over 20 hours per week. 
  • Legacy Interns cannot be an RA at the same time due to the responsibilities of an RA. 
  • Students can only hold 1 legacy Internship each semester.
