Citadel Completions provides V/VIP luxury aircraft interiors for all variants of narrow- and wide-body aircraft. Citadel also performs a full spectrum of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services under FAA Part 145 and international repair certifications. About the Role

 

Purpose

The IT Support Intern provides technical assistance and operational support to the Information Technology team while gaining hands-on experience in IT support, systems maintenance, and user services. This role assists with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, and maintaining IT equipment and documentation. The internship provides practical exposure to enterprise technology environments and helps develop foundational IT skills.


Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with responding to basic IT help desk requests and service tickets.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting support for common hardware and software issues.
  • Help install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Support user onboarding activities including workstation setup, system access, and equipment preparation.
  • Assist with installing operating systems, applications, and system updates.
  • Maintain IT inventory records for hardware, accessories, and equipment.
  • Support documentation of troubleshooting procedures, system configurations, and support guides.
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, security patches, and equipment checks.
  • Provide general administrative support for IT projects and technology deployments.
  • Learn and follow company IT security practices and data protection procedures.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary.


Minimum Qualifications or Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
  • Strong interest in learning IT support processes and enterprise technology systems.


Preferred Qualifications or Experience

  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems or technical support environments.
  • Prior coursework or certification preparation in IT-related subjects.
