SUMMARY:

The Intern position is responsible for providing support to their assigned department.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create file folders and file corresponding documents
  • Retrieve and accurately record messages from all phone queues at regular intervals throughout the day and distribute messages appropriately
  • Receive, sort, and accurately distribute all incoming mail and oversee outgoing mail
  • Assist department in obtaining files, as requested
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner based on priorities
  • Work quickly and effectively while maintaining quality of work
  • Engineering Specific
    • Create/revise drawings, installations, assemblies, and parts in AutoCad and SolidWorks
    • Create and assign part numbers to new parts
    • Assist with time keeping and tracking
  • Complete small special projects, as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

  • Capable of comprehensive listening (understanding the message(s) that is being communicated)
  • Intermediate level user on Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Accounting skills preferred (Customer & Product Support specific)
  • Cad skills preferred - 3D and/or 2D, with willingness to learn 3D (Engineering specific)
