About the Role

Judson Senior Living is seeking a Marketing Intern for Summer 2026. The role suits an independent thinker, problem solver, and someone comfortable with research, capable of adapting existing information and strategies into a comprehensive playbook. The candidate should be eager to move beyond planning to hands-on implementation. You will contribute to creating the Marketing Playbook, which details our strategies for attracting new residents and dedicated staff.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • The Marketing Playbook: Assist in developing a comprehensive sales document and tool outlining current strategies, personas, and information for both resident and associate recruitment. This includes identifying unique value propositions and drafting outreach protocols.
  • Associate Recruitment Program: Support the creation of a formalized hiring initiative. You will help establish technical requirements (such as Google account integration), research CRM capabilities for candidate tracking, and define specific target audience personas.
  • Strategic Planning: Attend and contribute to high-level planning meetings for special events and external community outreach.
  • Digital Advertising & Content: Assist in the coordination of digital ad campaigns. You will help ensure our storytelling—specifically through visual media and photography—accurately reflects our community’s core values.
  • Technology & Innovation: Gain exposure to industry-leading tech pilots (such as CRM automation and robotic assistance) to understand how innovation drives the future of senior living.

Requirements & Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management. (Master’s track or interest in Aging Services preferred).

Core Software & Technical Skills

  • Google Workspace Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets. The intern will be responsible for establishing organizational requirements for new associate Google accounts.
  • CRM Familiarity Preferred: Exposure to or a strong interest in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., Enquire, Sherpa, or Salesforce). You will help evaluate how these tools can track the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Digital Ad Platforms: Basic understanding of Meta Business Suite and Google Ads to assist in the planning and monitoring of digital advertising campaigns.
  • Visual Storytelling Tools: Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for basic collateral creation and a comfort level with digital photography for resident event coverage.

Professional Attributes

  • Values-Driven: A strong alignment with the pillars of Accountability, Belonging, Collaboration, Communication, Innovation, and Integrity.
  • Analytical Mindset: A "data-driven" approach to evaluating the success of recruitment targets and audience engagement.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced "incubation" environment where strategies are being built from the ground up.
