About The Company
Hexa is a startup studio. It all started in 2011 with startup studio eFounders, which pioneered a new way of entrepreneurship, became a reference in the B2B SaaS world, and launched over 50 companies including 3 unicorns (Front, Aircall, Spendesk). In 2022, eFounders became Hexa, to scale our ambitions further and launch startups in new verticals: AI, web3, fintech, future of work, health. We’re on a mission to empower ambitious founders to build exceptional companies. 📈 In numbers? We’re an entrepreneurial ecosystem made up of: - +50 companies launched - +2800 jobs created - 3 unicorns (Spendesk, Aircall, Front) - +$4.5 billion combined companies valuation
About the Role

⚡ Today, successful software companies have two ways to support and finance their growth: the VC path, and the self-financed profitable path. For software companies that can’t or do not want to bootstrap, but haven’t managed to stay permanently on hyper-growth, the VC path is a dead-end.

At Hexa Scale, we’re on a mission to solve this: offer a new alternative to fund and scale software companies towards exponential growth.

We believe that there are great software companies, still early stages in the 1-10m€ ARR range, that sit on amazing markets with a great product, but that require a few changes to unlock their potential.

We believe that by providing them with capital and strong operational leverage, we can put them on the right trajectory, towards category-leading exponential growth. Our full manifesto.

Your role is to help us find, select and invest in those companies.

Mission

Within Hexa Scale’s team (Augustin & Samuel), you’ll participate in the deal-flow cycle to make 2 successful deals a year.

Outcomes

Deal-flow: guarantee volume and reactivity

  • Perform the first analysis of Inbound leads, and therefore guarantee a <48h contact to the entrepreneurs.
  • Identify new companies that fit our investment scope each week for reach out and ensure a strong volume generation at the top of our investment funnel, target: 30 identified companies
  • Help us to enhance our outbound tooling set-up (database, automations, scraping)

Research: help perform cutting edge market deep-dives

  • Perform research on sectors that we decide to deep-dive: mapping of actors, mapping of products and features, understanding of competitive landscape, understanding of funding status and exit potential, understanding of value-creation for customers and GTM structures.
  • Participate in qualitative research with market experts: Identify, reach-out and organise calls with market experts that we may not have directly in our network, at scale. Example: generate 10+ interviews with key buyer persona on a researched market.
