Quality Assurance (QA) Intern

VeryPay is a forward-thinking fintech company providing secure and efficient payment solutions. We are committed to delivering reliable and high-quality payment products, including mobile applications, backend services, and merchant platforms. 

To support our development team, we are looking for a QA Intern (6-month contract) to help ensure the quality and stability of our products through manual testing and basic automation support. 

The QA Intern will support the QA team in executing test cases, identifying defects, and validating product functionality across web and mobile applications. This role will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure features are tested properly before release. 

Start Date: April 2026 | If the VeryPay projects expands and resource needs to increase, there may be an opportunity for long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Execute test cases for web, mobile, and backend APIs. 

• Perform manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues. 

• Verify bug fixes and regression testing before product releases. 

• Report and track issues using Jira or similar bug tracking tools. 

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues. 

• Assist in maintaining test documentation, including test cases and test reports. 

• Support basic automation testing if automation frameworks already exist. 

• Participate in sprint testing activities within an Agile development process. 

• 0-2 years of experience in software testing (manual testing experience is acceptable). 

• Understanding of software testing concepts such as functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing. 

• Experience writing test cases and bug reports. 

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira). 

• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools) is a plus. 

• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment. 

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 

• Good communication and documentation skills. 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS). 

• Basic understanding of test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, or similar). 

• Experience working with fintech, payment systems, or transaction platforms. 

• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
