Job Description

1. Business & Functional Analysis

  • Participate in requirements gathering workshops and interviews with business users
  • Document functional requirements using user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Perform gap-fit analysis between standard D365 CE functionality and business needs
  • Create and maintain functional specification documents and configuration workbooks
  • Map business processes (Sales, Service, Marketing, Field Service) to D365 capabilities
  • Support change management activities (training materials, user adoption tracking)

2. Configuration & Solution Delivery

  • Build and configure entities, forms, views, business process flows, and dashboards in sandbox environments
  • Create and maintain Power Automate flows for business automation
  • Set up security roles, business units, and field-level security
  • Configure out-of-the-box and custom reports / dashboards (Power BI embedded)
  • Perform data migration tasks (using Data Loader or Azure Data Factory templates)
  • Execute system and user acceptance testing (test case creation and execution)

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related fields.
  • Experience/exposure in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, etc.)—demonstrated through coursework, projects, or self-study.
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (classes, inheritance, polymorphism, etc.).
  • Familiarity with basic web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) or simple app development.
  • Any experience/exposure with a second programming language or paradigm (e.g., functional, scripting).
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL queries, relational concepts) or APIs (REST basics).
  • Any exposure to Microsoft technologies: Power Platform (even a simple Canvas app), Dynamics 365 basics, Azure fundamentals, or C#/.NET projects.
  • Exposure to version control (Git/GitHub preferred) or basic collaborative coding.
  • Personal/academic projects (e.g., web apps, automation scripts, mobile apps, data tools) showing initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving and logical thinking
  • Quick learner with genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for enterprise software / CRM / low-code platforms.
  • Good communication skills (clear written/spoken English for team collaboration and basic documentation).
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused.
  • Willingness to receive feedback
