About the Role

As an Accounting Services Intern, you will join a collaborative and supportive team environment where you’ll assist with accounting and consulting engagements while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience. Our internship program includes comprehensive onboarding and on-the-job training designed to help you build confidence and develop your skills. Position Type: Internship

Location: San Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • Accounting major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Undergraduate degree completed prior to start of internship or in the final year of undergraduate degree plan
  • Actively working toward meeting education requirement for CPA certification and plans in place to facilitate passing the CPA exams
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word 
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Travel may be required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on accounting and consulting engagements
  • Assist team members in all aspects of client engagements including account reconciliations, general ledger entries, analytics and forecasting
  • Other duties as needed and assigned

Expectations:

  • Be knowledgeable on a first-year staff level by the conclusion of the internship
  • At conclusion of internship there may be an opportunity for a full-time permanent position with the firm
