Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Shape the future: Support the creation and modification of CAD models for thermo-mechanical simulation
- Take responsibility: Implement geometry parametrization and enable efficient simulation parameter studies
- Identify needs: Develop and implement scripts for post-processing of simulation results, including data visualization and analysis
- Data is everything: Document and present implemented models and results, scripts and post-processing workflows
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Study Field: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in computational mechanics, mechanical or civil engineering, microsystems or equivalent degree
- Experience: Initial experience gained in student internships in CAD modeling and FEM simulation tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS. Experience with MS Office tools required
- Skills: Good programming skills, preferably Python or MATLAB
- Way of working: Willing to learn and to work in a team; a systematic approach for problem-solving and an independent and self-driven working style
- Availability: Willing to travel to Munich, as occasional trips may be required
- Language skills: Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
- CV in English
- Certificate of enrollment at university
- Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months)
- High school report
- Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree program. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
- You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
