About the Role

Objectives

  • Our 6-month Internship Programme will give you insights into the various activities that take place in the BASF Shared Services Centre Kuala Lumpur
  • Provide support to a range of processes and programs
  • Offer day-to-day support in sourcing vendors for company discount programs, negotiation process and sealing deals
  • Participate in process improvement, automation, and digitalization initiatives to enhance service delivery

 

Responsibilities

  • Seek and reach out to potential vendors/service providers that offer product/services that align with company values and employee needs/interests
  • Document discussion, negotiation, and agreement with vendor
  • Facilitate communication between vendor and tax, finance & legal teams to ensure contract compliance
  • Engage with vendors to communicate alternative or additional terms to align with long-term administrative capacity as well as company policies and processes
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure activities are completed accurately and timely

 

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Degree in Human Resources or in a comparable field
  • Able to commit 6-months full-time internship
  • Strong people skills and influential abilities
  • Service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft application i.e. Words, Excel, Power Point
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good learning aptitude, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset
