About the Role
Objectives
- Our 6-month Internship Programme will give you insights into the various activities that take place in the BASF Shared Services Centre Kuala Lumpur
- Provide support to a range of processes and programs
- Offer day-to-day support in sourcing vendors for company discount programs, negotiation process and sealing deals
- Participate in process improvement, automation, and digitalization initiatives to enhance service delivery
Responsibilities
- Seek and reach out to potential vendors/service providers that offer product/services that align with company values and employee needs/interests
- Document discussion, negotiation, and agreement with vendor
- Facilitate communication between vendor and tax, finance & legal teams to ensure contract compliance
- Engage with vendors to communicate alternative or additional terms to align with long-term administrative capacity as well as company policies and processes
- Work closely with other teams to ensure activities are completed accurately and timely
Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Human Resources or in a comparable field
- Able to commit 6-months full-time internship
- Strong people skills and influential abilities
- Service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft application i.e. Words, Excel, Power Point
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good learning aptitude, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset
