About The Company
Ricondo & Associates, Inc. (Ricondo) is a full-service aviation consulting firm. The services we provide to airport owners and operators, airlines, and federal and state aviation-related agencies include facilities and operations planning, environmental planning, and financial planning. We provide technical consulting and project management services relating to airport facilities planning, airport master planning, financial analyses, environmental planning, feasibility studies, airfield and airspace analyses, and airport development programs, either on a project basis or as part of on-call consulting services. What distinguishes Ricondo in aviation planning is our focus on the aviation industry, our responsive approach to delivery of services, and our commitment to supporting our clients from preliminary planning through project design, federal processing, financing, and project construction. Our philosophy places client needs as our first priority – delivering our services in a way that builds long-term successful relationships. Nearly 90 percent of our clients are repeat clients, evidence of the quality of our services, our professional reputation, and the solid relationships we’ve built.

About the Role
Ricondo is seeking a student intern with an emphasis in Architecture or Urban Planning in our Atlanta office for our 2026 Summer Internship Program. We believe the best way to learn the business firsthand is by working alongside our talented team of aviation consultants in our offices. Ricondo staff are passionate and committed to working collaboratively with our airport clients to assess options for resolving complex issues facing the aviation industry today.
As an intern, you will gain experience in programming and developing architectural concepts and schematic designs of passenger terminal and airside gate facilities. You will be exposed to software platforms used to simulate passenger terminals, aircraft, and ground service vehicle operations; as well as planning processes involved with defining complex high-value airport capital programs.
You will work under the direction of a registered architect and with teams of airspace, airfield, terminal, and ground transportation experts. Your experience can count toward NCARB Architectural Experience Program® (AXP®) hours.
No two airports are the same, and no two projects are alike. We strive to diversify our internship program experience by having interns work on a broad range of active client projects.
Requirements
Ricondo is an equal opportunity employer.
