Veterinary Student Externship at Mixed Pet Veterinary Hospital

About the hospital:

At Mixed Pet Veterinary Hospital, we like to think of ourselves as a little different, in all the right ways. Since 2000, our Charlotte animal hospital has been built around one simple idea: combine serious veterinary expertise with a fun, approachable culture that puts pets (and their people) instantly at ease.
 
Our founder, Dr. Schoolmeester, has spent nearly 50 years caring for pets in North Carolina, and that depth of experience is something you feel the moment you walk through our doors. From puppies with zoomies to wise senior cats who need extra support, we’ve been lucky enough to care for generations of pets across Ballantyne, SouthPark, Matthews, and beyond.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path)
