The Job at a Glance

evermore is looking for a high-agency Growth Intern to help architect the go-to-market strategy for new vertical expansions across our item-level restriction ecosystem.

This is not a “research-only” internship. You will operate as a builder — identifying new growth opportunities, pressure-testing markets, modeling economics, and helping translate insight into execution-ready strategy.

If you like solving complex problems, digging into competitive landscapes, and building something from zero to one, this role is for you.

By the end of this internship, you will have:

  • Identified and validated three new vertical expansion opportunities
  • Defined three Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) within each vertical
  • Conducted structured competitive analysis for each vertical
  • Developed pricing frameworks and growth potential models
  • Produced a board-ready strategic memo outlining recommendations and execution roadmap

What You Will Do

Working within an organization created at the intersection of health care, retail and financial technology, no two days will look the sameTypical responsibilities of the role include:

  • Conduct deep market research across payments, fintech, healthcare, and retail-adjacent ecosystems
  • Identify underserved or mispriced segments where item-level infrastructure can unlock value
  • Interview potential customers and ecosystem participants to validate demand
  • Analyze competitors’ positioning, pricing, partnerships, and strategic moats
  • Build bottoms-up TAM/SAM/SOM models
  • Develop vertical-specific ICP definitions and acquisition strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Product, and Finance to pressure-test feasibility
  • Convert findings into structured, executive-level strategy documents

About You

While every candidate brings a unique resume and prospective, an ideal candidate will include:

  • High agency — you prefer autonomy and have a bias for action
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Able to go deep analytically while staying commercially practical
  • Structured thinker who can synthesize complexity into clarity
  • Naturally curious about startups and market disruption
  • Strong written communicator — able to write clearly and concisely for executive audiences
  • Operator mindset — you care about what will actually work, not just what sounds good

Experience level is flexible. What matters most is demonstrated ownership, rigor, and bias toward action. Pay will be $25/hr.
