About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in project coordination, team collaboration, and strategic planning across multiple business initiatives.

 

This position is required to be onsite at our West Des Moines, IA office. Must be available to work 20 hours per week, minimum. This position is available for immediate hire, if candidate is available.

What you'll do:
  • Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring project timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items and decisions
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation using project management tools
  • Support communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making
  • Help identify project risks and contribute to mitigation strategies
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including status reports and presentations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements


Required Skills and Experience
  • Must be currently enrolled and seeking a degree in Business Administration/Management, MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be available to work 20 hours per week, minimum
  • Must be onsite at our West Des Moines, IA office


Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, SmartSheet, etc.) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
