About the Role

Description

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner and global leader in automation systems and solutions, is seeking a part-time Learning & Development Intern to support employee learning programs across the organization. This internship offers hands-on experience contributing to learning systems and programs used companywide, with a focus on operationalizing Workday Learning, coordinating new hire and ongoing training, and assisting with content creation.


The Intern will gain exposure to modern L&D tools, including AI-enabled content development, while supporting a growing, practical learning function. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, curious student who enjoys both systems-based work and creative support.


Learning & Development Internship Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support setup, maintenance, and organization of learning content in Workday Learning (uploading content, tagging, tracking completions, basic reporting)
  • Assist with administrative coordination for training programs, including calendar invites, session logistics, and attendance tracking for new hire and ongoing training
  • Help with first-pass content creation, including drafting outlines, slides, job aids, or scripts based on provided inputs
  • Support simple video content creation by executing updates in tools like Synthesia (plug-and-chug edits, swaps, and revisions using existing templates)
  • Conduct light research and cleanup work to improve consistency, accuracy, and usability of learning materials
  • Partner closely with the Learning & Development Manager on short-term projects and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

Learning & Development Internship Education and/or Experience

  • Pursuing a degree in HR, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Comfortable working in systems and following defined processes; not afraid of detailed, repetitive setup work
  • Strong written communication and organization skills
  • Interest in corporate learning, training technology, or employee development; prior exposure to LMS platforms or content tools is a plus but not required

Learning & Development Internship Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours on a computer

  • Hours: Part-Time, 20hr/week
  • Pay: $20.00/hr
