At the end of your internship, you will have obtained the following experience:

- Support sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of various assumptions on investment performance.
- Conduct research on economic, demographic, and market trends to support investment decision-making.
- Help compile, review, and summarize due diligence materials such as financial statements, leases, reports, and operational data.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and internal reporting using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
- Collaborate with other Capital Markets verticals to support ongoing investment optimization initiatives.
- Support cross-functional coordination with Asset Management and Operations to ensure smooth transition of newly acquired communities.
- Provide general team support on special projects and other analytical tasks as needed.
Responsibilities listed above may not be all-inclusive.
What We Require:
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with interest in financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with real estate fundamentals is a plus but not required.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to work full-time for the full 10-week term of the program, beginning June 9, 2025.
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required. We do not offer sponsorship for this position.
- All positions require pre-employment background check verification and a pre-employment drug screen.
Operational Details:
- Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters where you will be exposed to on-the-fly learning opportunities.
- Full-time hours; 10-week program.
- Working hours are typically 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
