Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and creative UX Design Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This is a cross-functional role supporting UX design, graphic design, and marketing. The intern will contribute to client-facing projects, help bridge design and development workflows, and apply AI tools to improve internal processes and create digital content. This role reports to the Director of Product Design but shall also work closely with the marketing team led by Triple Ring’s Commercial General Manager and the software development team.

Internship Duration: June 2026 to August 2026

Responsibilities

  • Support UX design activities including wireframing, prototyping, and user research across active client projects
  • Port and adapt Figma design assets for use in development software in collaboration with the software engineering team
  • Assist in generating content for marketing purposes, including website copy and social media assets
  • Leverage AI tools to identify and automate pain points in UX and software workflows
  • Create and edit web and social media content as needed
  • Contribute to both billable client projects and internal Triple Ring initiatives

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Figma (this is a must — please include portfolio samples)
  • Familiarity with software development workflows and design handoff processes
  • Experience using or experimenting with AI tools (e.g., generative AI, prompt engineering, automation tools)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with photo and/or video editing (preferred)
  • Familiarity with web and social media content creation (preferred)
  • Interest in medical devices, life sciences, or hardware/software product development

The hourly range for jobs which are performed in US, California is $30.00 to $38.00. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and work location.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and 1-day of your choice. In certain circumstances the hybrid work model may change to accommodate business needs.
