Position: Finance Operations Intern 
Department: Finance / Accounting 
Employment Type: Summer Internship (Approximately 10–12 weeks, May–August 2026)

Role Overview

The Finance Operations Intern will support the finance team in managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and analysis. This role provides hands-on experience with financial processes, data analysis, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistwithbank and accountreconciliations
  • Supportaccounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Help preparefinancial reports,spreadsheets and supporting documentation
  • Performdata analysisto support financial decision-making
  • Support themonthly close process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Review financial transactions to ensureaccuracy and compliance
  • Help document and improvefinance operational processes
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments on financial projects
  • Support the accounting team withspecial projects and research tasks

Qualifications

  • Currentlypursuing aBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or relatedfield.
  • Basic understanding offinancial principles and accounting concepts
  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

  • ProficiencyinMicrosoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience withfinancial reporting or data analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP systemsor accounting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
