Title/Department: Community Relations & Social Impact Intern

Location: Downers Grove, IL

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Program Details:

As a Duly Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge while contributing to a hands-on environment that fits your career objective and gain valuable exposure to your chosen field. We offer an 8–10-week, paid summer internship program for college students to help prepare yourself for your career after college. 

 


Responsibilities

  1. Community Engagement & Event Support
  • Assist in planning and executing volunteer events and fundraising initiatives.
  • Attend events to engage with community members and represent the company’s mission.
  1. Research & Outreach
  • Assist with confirming sponsorship opportunities.
  • Assist in outreach to nonprofit partners based on Charitable Fund and Corporate Philanthropy initiatives.
  • Help maintain relationships with local and national health-focused nonprofit organizations.
  1. Communication & Content Creation
  • Work with the marketing team on creating marketing materials such as flyers, event recaps, and employee engagement reports as needed.
  • Support internal communications to increase employee participation in volunteer efforts and for communicating all social impact/community initiatives.
  1. Data Collection & Reporting
  • Track community engagement metrics, volunteer hours, and program impact.
  • Assist in preparing reports for leadership, highlighting the effectiveness of social impact initiatives.
  • Support documentation of community investments, including donations and sponsorships.
  1. Employee Engagement & Volunteerism
  • Help coordinate employee volunteer programs.
  • Develop strategies to increase participation in corporate volunteerism and donation drives.
  • Assist in recognizing and celebrating employees who contribute to community impact efforts.
  1. Special Projects & Administrative Support
  • Support projects aligned with corporate social responsibility.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, organizing records, and budget tracking.
  • Provide support for grant applications and nonprofit funding requests.

Qualifications

  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor’s degree in a related field of the internship.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize, organize and multitask
  • Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
  • Interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong project management and writing skills
  • Knowledge and experience with multimedia content

 

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.00 per hour, determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
