About the Role

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Internship: Product Design Engineer - Mechanical.

 

The hourly rate for this position is 20.77-25.96 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Job Description:
•    Depending on your academic specialty, you could be working within a mechanical, software, or an electrical capacity for the duration of your internship.
•    As part of the Engineering team, you will be applying standard engineering principles to well defined problems of basic complexity.
•    Employ the appropriate discipline processes, practices, and tools to ensure that responsibilities are completed to meet the required project requirements.
•    Work with Engineering team members or collaborate with other departments as part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and contribute to the performance of the IPT to ensure that technical expectations are met or exceeded.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop new products and execute the necessary program plans required to ensure that product development requirements are met.
•    Participate in component testing, data acquisition setup, performance testing, and system assembly.
•    Research and develop new related technologies as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
•    Must have completed at least one year with a major in Engineering at an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience with problem solving.
•    Experience presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
•    Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports.
