Worley Canada Construction is a leader in industrial construction in Alberta and western Canada. Worley is seeking a Deskside Support Summer Intern to work with our IT team at our Edmonton, Alberta office. This position will start in May 2026 for a 4 month term.

Please note the work is required to be completed in-person at our office location.

The Deskside Support Summer Intern troubleshoots computer problem, determines the source and advises on appropriate action, maintains the asset database, assists with shipping and receiving. This position is responsible for hardware/software installation and configuration, and provides support to staff on all company supported applications.

Responsibilities:

·         Image and deploy desktop, laptop, tablet and peripherals following deployment documentation and checklists

·         Provide end user support through email, phone or in person

·         Coordinate with management to prepare field setup, deployment, and demobilization

·         Assist in inventory management, procurement, and shipment activities

·         Utilize asset management tools to analyze, review, and track asset data

·         Work with suppliers and 3rd party vendors to schedule lease returns

·         Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored, or accessed

·         Support other departments as necessary, depending on workload

Qualifications:

·         Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and have physical ability to lift 20lbs

·         Must be enrolled in an IT-related program at an accredited universities or colleges

·         Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy

·         Effective written and verbal business communication skills

·         Able to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills within position to complete tasks in a timely manner

·         Experience working within an EPC environment preferred but not required

·         Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
