About the Job

We are looking for an intern to assist the MoneyHero marketing team in developing engaging content for our platform users. You will get hands-on experience in content writing, editing, publishing and distribution across different channels. This is an ongoing internship, the intern will be guided by the marketing team and given the opportunity to learn best practices in content marketing. Your work will help strengthen MoneyHero’s ability to acquire and engage the next generation of financial consumers.

 

The Intern, Marketing will be responsible for:

Content Creation & SEO

  • Create and edit blogs, articles and social posts on various personal finance topics.
  • Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and user engagement.
  • Carry out SEO activities like keyword research and page optimization.
  • Create visuals such as infographics to accompany written content.

Youth Consumer & Market Research

  • Conduct research to understand how young consumers perceive financial products (credit cards, loans, insurance, investments).
  • Investigate how young consumers search for financial information online and discover financial content on social media.
  • Evaluate how younger users view financial comparison platforms.
  • Track how fintech companies and financial brands engage younger consumers, including content strategies, reward positioning, social media engagement, and campaign messaging.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to the Growth team.

Insight Reporting & Content Trend Analysis

  • Monitor emerging trends among younger audiences across platforms such as Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Identify trending financial topics, popular content formats, and tone and messaging styles that resonate with younger audiences.
  • Produce outputs that may include short insight reports, surveys or interviews, and trend summaries.
  • Prepare short summaries and insights that can help guide marketing strategy, such as “What Gen Z thinks about credit cards” or “Why younger users may or may not trust comparison platforms”.

Campaign Testing & Experimentation Support

  • Support the Growth team in testing new campaign angles targeting younger audiences.
  • Review ad creatives and messaging, and suggest alternative hooks or tone of voice.
  • Provide first-person feedback on campaign concepts to help improve CTR, engagement, and campaign relevance.

In This Role, We Are Looking For Someone With

  • Currently pursuing a relevant degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Chinese Language or related field.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in Cantonese and English.
  • Basic knowledge of content creation and communication skills.
  • Interest in finances, personal finance and financial products.
  • Creative thinking, detail-oriented, ability to multitask.
  • Passionate about learning new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Good To Have

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (a plus).

  • Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
