About the Role

Job Description Summary

Responsible for providing “best-in-class” customer experience for collaboration and digital workplace technologies. You will be expected to leverage new technologies and analytics to continuously improve the customer experience. This position will be responsible for both working directly with customers, as well as providing technical leadership and to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and tools. Responsible for the availability and reliability of audio/video and broadcast technologies in the site.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Digital Technology Internship offers students a placement opportunity for 12 months in GE Aerospace & consists of an intensive combination of on-the-job training in various technologies and opportunities for exposure across multiple information technology concepts, finance, leadership, and business skills.

Internship follows one of the tracks listed below:

·Responsible for providing “World Class” customer experience for collaboration and digital workplace technologies. 

·Ensures successful end-to-end delivery of a service through ongoing internal client engagement, partnering with technical teams internal and external to the initiative, and coordination of all required activities and milestones.

·Ensures best-in-class service of the audio/video technologies for meeting rooms & broadcast technologies.

·IT Assets control.

Main topics of interns training:

·IT Skills: Office automation, Current technologies.

·Soft Skills: presentation, public speaking, exposure

·Team: effective collaboration, performing under pressure, communication.

·Hands On Projects.

Qualifications/Requirements

·Students’ minimum at 4th semester of university

·Proven academic excellence throughout their educational career, showing evidence of being on-track for a degree in a quantitative discipline: Computer Science / Management Information Systems / Informatics / IT Management / Information Technologies Engineering preferred but not closed to them.

  • Good communication in Spanish and English.

·Curious and passionate about new Technology, A/V technology and Networking.

Mexican nationality is required for this position due to regulatory matters.

Desired Characteristics

·Technology enthusiast.

·Passion/aptitude for information technology.

·Up to date with current industry standards, trending software and information technology development tools.

·Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom.

·Extra initiatives/engagements in student organizations are a plus.

·Communicative & open-minded.

·Good written and verbal communication skills.

·Self-taught with a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skills and new technologies readily.
