Our Role
We are hiring a 12-month fixed-term Internship position within our UK Equity Team, based in our London office. As a Real Estate Intern, you will gain valuable experience in the Real Estate sector by assisting various aspects of property transactions, market analysis, and client interactions. This internship offers exposure to both residential and commercial Real Estate, providing insights into different segments of the industry. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Acquisition Team members underwriting Real Estate equity opportunities
Assisting in the development, management and analysis of financial models for potential Real Estate equity investments
Conducting market research and analyze trends to identify attractive investment opportunities
Supporting the due diligence process by gathering and organizing relevant property and market data
Preparing investment memorandums for internal and external investment committees, and communication with various stakeholders (both internal and external).
Collaborating with team members across the Equity team in deal sourcing and due diligence (working with the Transactions team), support in ongoing fund management (working with Portfolio Managers), and asset management (working with Asset Managers)
What you will bring
Undergraduate or postgraduate with a focus on Finance, Economics or Real Estate. Candidates from different academic fields will be considered
Exposure to financial modelling
Basic knowledge of corporate finance and financial markets
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong sense of self-motivation and ownership
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Previous experience/internship working within Financial Services is a plus, but not required

What we offer you
Private Medical Insurance: PGIM offers private medical insurance and pays the full premium on behalf of all employees.
Annual Leave of 25 to 28 days, based on years of service, at full pay.
Retirement Savings Plan: Employees receive a company contribution of 10% basic annual salary and a maximum employer-matching contribution of 5% of basic annual salary.
Life Assurance & Income Protection: Life Assurance for 12 times your basic annual salary, up to a max benefit of £1.8million. 60% of your basic annual salary for a limited payment term of 5 years, at the end of which a capital sum of 2x your basic annual salary is payable.
