Calera Winery is looking for several Harvest Interns to join the team for Harvest 2026. Located in Hollister, Calera Winery has the unique opportunity to process fruit and produce wine giving seasonal employees an opprotunity to work closely with winemakers, cellar employees and in the lab. The primary focus of the role is to support the day-to-day operations for the cellar during the busy harvest season.
• Perform grape receiving and processing activities.
• Make additions to musts and wine.
• Monitor fermentation.
• Perform barrel activities (cleaning, filling, and topping).
• Drive a forklift (potentially).
• Perform cap management practices (punch-downs, pump-overs).
• Follow sanitation protocols for equipment, tanks, and winery.
What you will need:
• Must have a positive attitude and be reliable, on-time and engaged.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• Ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements.
• Effective communication.
• Good reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 42lbs.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.

• The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00.
