Marketing Intern - Van Wert, OH

Purpose:

Develop and learn the marketing concepts and systems used for creating customer awareness of TRULAND Equipment. This is accomplished through partnered work with various departments and individuals within TRULAND to create on brand materials and content.

Responsibilities: 

• Work with Marketing Manager to develop and create annual TRULAND calendar
• Create organic marketing content for media platforms at various TRULAND locations
• Develop and promote campaigns for customer awareness and utilization on John Deere digital training platforms (i.e. Equipment Mobile)
• Assist with location based public events (kids’ day of play and county fairs)
• Work with Precision Ag department on the creation and editing of operator web-based training platform
• Assist sales management with video and image collection for equipment on various auction sites
• Work with Admin department for Customer Account Cleanup for JDSMO implementation
• Capstone Project: Develop upcoming year marketing plan for TRULAND Equipment to increase brand awareness and customer knowledge
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent required
• Two (2) years completed college level courses preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of office software experience and computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

• Driving record that meets Employer’s insurance company requirements.
