What The Role Entails 


The Human Resources (HR) Intern will provide support to the HR department by assisting with various administrative tasks, employee engagement activities, and HR initiatives. This position is ideal for a college student seeking hands-on experience in HR and human resource management. The intern will learn about HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance while contributing to the overall success of the HR team.


 What You Will Get to Do 

  • Provides administrative support to the HR team, such as filing, organizing, and preparing materials for meetings.
  • As directed, assists in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Maintains and updates employee records and HR databases.
  • Assists with onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Supports employee engagement and retention activities, such as organizing events or surveys.
  • Helps prepare HR-related reports and presentations.
  • Manages HR documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Handles employee inquiries as directed.
  • Engages with all levels of staff.



Requirements

 

What You Bring to The Role 

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably with a major in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.                                                                                 
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Basic understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
