About the Role

Bilingual Operations Intern | Windsor Communities - Miami, FL

This is a 10-week, on-site summer internship.

For the fifth year in a row, Windsor Communities is the recipient of the 2025 Kingsley Excellence Award achieving the top award for Overall Customer Service.

DESCRIPTION:

The Operations Intern will support the on‑site Operations team in delivering an exceptional resident experience while gaining hands‑on exposure to property management, customer service, and day‑to‑day community operations. This internship is designed for a motivated college student interested in real estate, property management, operations, or hospitality and provides meaningful, real‑world experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Throughout the 10‑week program, the intern will work closely with the Community leadership team and Resident Services team, assisting with operational processes, resident interactions, and administrative support while learning industry best practices.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Resident Experience & Customer Service:

  • Assist with welcoming residents and supporting move in and move out activities, including preparation of welcome materials and orientation support.
  • Observe and support resident communication efforts, ensuring timely and professional responses under supervision.
  • Participate in resident events and engagement initiatives to help foster a strong sense of community.
  • Shadow the Resident Services team to learn how resident issues are documented, escalated, and resolved.

Operations & Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the on site Operations team, including organizing files, preparing reports, and updating trackers.
  • Assist with package management processes and coordination with on site team members.
  • Support compliance and documentation efforts related to community operations.
  • Learn how daily operational checklists and workflows are used to support community standards.

Cross Functional Exposure & Learning:

  • Gain exposure to collaboration between Operations, Sales, Maintenance, and Support Services teams.
  • Attend team meetings, trainings, and shadowing opportunities to understand how different roles contribute to the resident lifecycle.
  • Assist with special projects related to resident experience, operational efficiency, or process improvement.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in structured learning experiences, including feedback check ins and a capstone or summary project at the end of the internship.
  • Develop professional communication, time management, and customer service skills in a real-world setting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited college or university and graduating on or before May 2027.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Operations Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, Hospitality, Finance, Economics, or a similar major.
  • Strong interest in operations, customer experience, or property management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team based, on site environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong interest in operations, property management, real estate, or business operations.
  • Ability to work onsite and commit to a 10-week summer internship.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); comfort learning new systems and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from onsite leadership.

COMPENSATION:

  • Our company considers a range of factors including education and experience when determining base compensation.
  • Compensation: $21/ hour.
