He angitūtanga: The opportunity
As a Graduate in our Customer Experience and Digital Services department, you’ll gain broad exposure across a range of services offered by Auckland Council.

The Customer Experience and Digital Services teams support our frontline channels to deliver excellent customer experiences by providing innovative and simplified solutions. This role has a particular emphasis on supporting digital channel projects and initiatives.

Your Rotations

  • Working with other council departments to design customer journeys to support self-service
  • Creating accessible, plain language content that informs and educates Aucklanders
  • Drafting customer requirements to help guide the development of new digital tools and journeys
  • Managing our website CMS, utilising our publishing framework for a consistent user experience.

Each rotation will provide a healthy mix of formal learning, on-the-job learning, mentoring from experienced professionals and meaningful work.

He kōrero mōu: About you
Whilst prior applicants have come through either an Operational Research, Science (Statistics or Mathematics), or Commerce (Management, Human Resources) pathway, we welcome applicants with a passion for numbers and a motivation to develop meaningful customer experiences.

You must have:

  •  A minimum of a relevant Bachelor’s degree
  • Eligibility to work in Aotearoa New Zealand for more than 4 years without sponsorship
