About G2’s Intern Program

G2’s Intern Program is back for its 6th amazing summer! You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Executive & Senior Leadership Teams. We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, ensuring you’ll have a balanced experience over the course of the 10 weeks

  • Hybrid: Tuesday through Thursday required in-person at our Bengaluru office

About The Role

As an SEO & AEO Content Intern, you'll be doing real, scoped work that directly supports the team's priorities and OKRs. You'll contribute to ongoing projects, build familiarity with how content focused on SEO and AEO operates at scale, and leave with hands-on experience across search and AI discoverability.

You will mainly focus on:

  • Analyzing proprietary data to identify trends, insights, and unique angles for content

  • Creating engaging, informative, and data-driven content that is both audience-focused and optimized for emerging search formats, such as AI overviews, featured snippets and Google’s evolving ranking factors.

  • Learning how to use analytical tools such as Ahrefs, GSC, Google Analytics, etc., by assisting the SEO team with performance reports

  • Support the relevant stakeholders with different review stages to accomplish content publishing goals on time

  • Leveraging AI tools to optimize and refresh existing content to keep it up-to-date, competitive, and engaging for the target audiences

  • Support the team to build G2 community discussion threads for various software categories

  • Sharing your learnings with the team and the leadership

Requirements

  • A rising Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university, preferably studying Marketing or Communication. looking for students who are currently pursuing graduation or masters

  • Interested in technical writing (any prior experience in long-form writing is good to have)

  • Attention to detail and concern for accuracy.

  • Excellent organization skills (email, task management, follow-up)

  • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and independently, delivering on assigned tasks and responsibilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
