Job Description

We’re looking for a Human Resources intern to have the opportunity to learn various aspects of human resources within a growing company. This opportunity will allow the human resources intern to work alongside our human resources director, managers, recruiters, and generalist to learn the aspects of what makes SOCOTEC a great place to work! This internship will start June 2nd,2026 and end August 13th, 2026.

With your time with us, you will:

  • Talent Acquisition: Recruit talent by supporting recruiting process from start to finish. Working with hiring managers to understand their business needs, posting on jobs boards, sourcing candidates, setting up interviews with candidates and creating and sending out job offers.
  • Compliance: Process and maintain HR records, job descriptions, personnel files etc. Be a part of HR file audits and learn how to comply with federal and state laws.
  • Communications: Help design communications to highlight benefits, programs related to our employee-value proposition and much more.
  • HR Operations: Assist in developing organization visual aids such as, process maps for various HR operations such as HRIS data, LOA process flows, and org charts.    
  • Policy: Aid alongside our HR managers to develop forms, policies, and procedures.
  • General Support: Support with onboarding / offboarding, administrative duties, presentation documents and other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be a junior or senior graduate studying Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Able to articulate how they demonstrate Time management and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook and other MS software.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • High sense of curiosity is a must
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

SOCOTEC offers generous compensation packages including salary, benefits & bonus based upon relevant experience.
