What You Will Do:

• Communicates via telephone and face-to-face encounters through courteous, patient and respectful conduct and conversation.

• Communicates effectively with patients, family members and staff to assist with scheduling utilizing good customer service skills.

• Ensures accurate and complete data for registering patients, gathering, verifying information.

• Utilizes computer systems such Microsoft Office products, outlook, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Collects payment and assist customers with financial need for payment of services, utilizing appropriate resources.

• Obtains appropriate signatures on forms relating to registration, billing, and patient care, meeting all compliance regulations and requirements.

• Documents and responds to customer complaints/concerns either in writing or verbally, using appropriate resources.

• Views, documents, or prints from the patient's electronic health record to assist with coordination of patient care.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Emplify Health by Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics is looking for a responsible individual who understands the importance of confidentiality to join our Emergency Room Registration team. Duties will include patient registration, verifying patient information, assisting patients with directions, and transportation of patients. You will rotate shifts every other weekend and may pick up additional hours once fully trained.
