About the Role

When our clients have an environmental need we dive in, diagnose, and apply the right combination of science, safety, grit, and ingenuity to get the job done safely and correctly. This could be by helping clients with regulatory compliance, groundwater testing at superfund sites, clean up at an emergency response event, or supporting our teammates internally with development opportunities. 

We are looking for a Business Development Intern.  This Person familiar and who can do research of potential targets, market indicators and data research to support future growth planning. This position will provide broad exposure to the environmental industry, service lines, and client bases. 

 

Responsibilities can include: 

• Assisting with research of state, federal and city contacts

• Private industry contact data collection 

• Support of tracking matrix and process design approaches in development 

• Identify and solicit team partners in multiple states, lead campaigns to align EWI with diverse suppliers to support market needs 

• Participate in client and team meetings

• Support research to promote environmental market awareness to certain clients

• Administrative task support 

• Other duties as assigned

• Assisting with wastewater reporting for clients with regulatory deadlines. 

• Field work 

• Assisting with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Spill, Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) reports. 

• Participation in team and client meetings. 

• End of program showcase to team on project(s), lessons learned, and impact of the internship. – yes.

 

Interns that join us will need a positive attitude, strong initiative, and an eagerness to learn. Internships will begin May 2025 for a minimum of 10 weeks, but exact start and end date is at the discretion of the department hosting the intern and the interns schedule.

  

Requirements
