About the Role

Job Description

Summer Intern

May 26 - August 14 (Must not have graduated before September 2026)

BS candidate with 2-3 years of coursework in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, preferred focus on IC design or fabrication.

As a Product Engineering Co‑op you will support our Product Engineering team while gaining hands‑on experience in the semiconductor industry. This role is designed for college sophomores who are pursuing an engineering degree and are interested in learning how products move from design into manufacturing and production. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to engineering tasks, and gain exposure to product qualification, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration. This is a learning‑focused role with structured mentorship and clear technical development opportunities.

Role

  • Work cross-functionally on development of BMICs and battery charger IC products.

  • Assist Product Engineers with data collection and analysis of product test results.

  • Support product temperature characterization, Guage R&R, and qualification activities.

  • Learn evaluation and disposition techniques for ESD, Latchup, and HTOL qualifications.

  • Prepare engineering documentation, reports and EBRs.

  • Participate in team meetings and reviews to understand product development flow.

  • Work on well‑defined digital and hands-on technical tasks or improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • BS candidate with 2-3 years of coursework in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, preferred focus on IC design or fabrication. Rising junior or seniors only. (Must not have graduated before September 2026)

  • Basic understanding of electronics and engineering fundamentals.

  • Strong technical and computer skills.

  • Familiarity with basic lab instruments (power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs). 

  • Proficiency in MS office and Excel; Minitab or JMP preferred.

  • Basic use of MATLAB, Python, C/C#, VBA, or similar language.

  • Willingness to learn new software and skills, take feedback, and work as part of a fast-paced team.

  • Self-motivated with strong engineering problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to create plans for open ended tasks.

  • Attention to detail and organization.

  • Experience with Converters, DCDC, Buck Boost, etc a plus
