Job Summary

The Finance Intern supports the Finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to construction and corporate finance, offering opportunities to develop practical financial, analytical, and business skills while working alongside experienced finance professionals..

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and monthly close activities
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes at the project and corporate level
  • Help analyze project costs, revenue, and financial performance metrics
  • Assist with data collection, validation, and reconciliation across financial systems
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities as needed
  • Prepare summaries and presentations for finance and leadership teams
  • Assist with financial modeling, trend analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality

 

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial systems or Power BI is a plus
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive financial data

Work Environment:

 

  • Primarily an office environment with exposure to job sites
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
