Job Summary

The Hospitality Internship with Levy Restaurants at Georgia World Congress Center is a 10-week, paid program that gives hospitality students the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inspirational hospitality culture. As a hospitality intern, you will be working closely with location leaders to develop skills and competencies to be successful in your prospective industry. Working closely with hospitality mentors, you will have an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes at a leading food service and hospitality organization. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in any of the following areas: operations, administration, HR, sales, finance, purchasing/supply chain, implementation of innovative projects, and client relationship skills. This internship involves firsthand experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development. This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
 
Compass Group Intern Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university or professional hospitality program
  • Meet university's GPA requirement for participation in an internship
  • Successful completion of relevant Intro to Hospitality coursework
  • Must be available to work 20 - 40 hours a week based on business needs and internship requirements
  • College credit is not required, but we will provide needed documentation if necessary
  • Articulate, with strong people skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Solid project management acumen
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-directed, initiative-taking, and curious
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Enjoyment of building relationships
