Position Overview
AISIN Mfg. Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Technician Intern to support production through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while developing technical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities

Support maintenance activities for machine downtime and preventative maintenance

Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with repairs on production equipment

Assist in implementing process improvements and maintaining operational standards

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and training requirements

Collaborate with team members and other departments to support production needs

Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload

Preferred Skills & Experience

Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and repair techniques

Exposure to PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Omron) is a plus

Understanding of manufacturing or industrial environments
Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Technical degree or coursework preferred
