Responsibilities

We are looking for driven, intellectually curious individuals to join the Workato AI Lab in Singapore. This is a generalist role designed for those who thrive at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and communication. Associates will contribute across a range of initiatives — from shaping AI use cases to building prototypes to crafting pitches that make complex ideas accessible to senior audiences.

The role is varied by design. Associates are expected to bring critical thinking and initiative to every engagement.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Identify and refine AI use cases across industries and business functions.

  • Reimagine business processes with a fresh perspective, grounded in user research.

  • Build compelling narratives and prototypes.

  • Conduct user interviews and market research to reveal unmet needs.

  • Conduct user meetups, hackathons, workshops and events for AI adoption, awareness and community building

  • Deliver well-researched content (blog articles, social media posts, videos, video storyboards etc) with a creative spin, on time and on brief. 

In addition to day-to-day contributions, you will undertake an individual project. This should be a well-researched proposal for a meaningful enhancement to Workato. This requires deep user empathy, rigorous fact-finding, and the ability to synthesise insights into a coherent and defensible recommendation.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in any discipline

  • Able to commit at least 3 months

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Thoughtful team player, a quick learner, and have a bias for action

  • Fast mover and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment

  • Resourceful in execution and results-oriented 

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous
