LOCATION: Can sit in either our Chili, NY or Columbus, WI office
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week; temporary, Summer internship
SUMMARY
Assist the I.T./I.S. staff in developing and designing information security systems for the organization
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Integrate security designs to ensure the organization proprietary information (data and systems) are safeguarded
- Determines the level of clearance required to access business information
- Investigates security breached to determine system weaknesses
- Conducts testing and configuration procedures across products and systems
- Analyzes security management systems, enterprise systems, and data files to validate security
- Performs security analysis across networks, databases, and internet/web operations
- Evaluate security plans to ensure the integrity of new and/or existing business operations
- Translates and designs security requirements
- Provides management with risk assessment briefings on products and/or services
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Working towards Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Person should have above average analytical and organizational skills, can prioritize duties, and communicate well in addition to having well developed programming skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
