About the Role

This is a rare chance to be part of one of California’s most historic wineries—working alongside a passionate team and acclaimed Winemaker, Connor Bockman. Harvest is the most exciting time of year in the winery, and we’re looking for motivated individuals to join our cellar team and play a hands-on role in bringing the vintage to life.

Position Summary

The Harvest Cellar Support role is a seasonal, hands-on position that assists the winemaking team with all aspects of harvest operations. This role is critical to the success of the vintage and provides a unique opportunity to gain immersive experience in premium wine production.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position supports a wide range of cellar activities, including but not limited to:

    Grape receiving and processing

    Additions to juice and wine

    Cap management (pump-overs, punch-downs)

    Fermentation monitoring and data collection

    Barrel work (cleaning, filling, topping, racking)

    Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, equipment, and winery spaces

    Supporting daily cellar operations as needed

Qualifications

    Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

    Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Strong attention to detail

    Basic reading, writing, and math skills

    Ability to understand and follow safety procedures

    Effective communication skills

    English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus

    Valid California Driver’s License preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements

    Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    Ability to work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions
