Job description

  • Develops working knowledge of executive communications and corporate marketing and communication campaigns through training and on‑the‑job experience.

  • Supports external communications activities for Amadeus’ Executive Committee and senior business leaders, including assistance with content planning, research, coordination, reporting, and supporting operational processes.

  • Helps coordinate executive external content across channels (media, website, social media, events) via editorial calendars and trackers, always ensuring consistency and alignment with approved messaging.

  • Assists in the delivery of global corporate external communication campaigns on priority themes such as artificial intelligence and biometrics.

  • Contributes to the creation of external content for owned, earned, and paid channels (e.g. blogs, videos, presentations, speeches, and supporting materials), sometimes working with external agencies and providers.

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders across Corporate Marketing & Communications, including Brand, Events, Digital Marketing, and Internal Communications teams, as well as marketing teams and VP offices across the organization.

  • Handles information in a confidential and professional manner, particularly when supporting executive‑level communications.

Skills and competencies

  • Academic background in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media or Digital Communications, Public Relations, or Business or International Relations

  • Basic experience with content creation for digital channels (e.g. articles, videos, social media posts, presentations)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint and Word)

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn

  • Comfort working with information in a structured and organized way (trackers, calendars, reporting)

  • Experience with communications agencies or design/video tools would be considered a plus, but is not required.

  • English fluency is mandatory

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Good interpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate.

  • Interest in marketing and communications, and about travel and technology.

Eligibility Criteria & Program Details

This internship program is delivered in collaboration with Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE) and is subject to the following requirements:

  • Be under 30 years old at the internship start date

  • Have completed the most recent academic qualification within the last 4 years

  • Not have previously participated in a program managed by FUE

  • Not have held an employment contract with Amadeus after completing their studies

  • Hold one of the following academic qualifications:

    • Higher Vocational Training Diploma (Formación Profesional de Grado Superior)

    • Bachelor’s Degree (completed) OR Master Degree (completed)

    • Degree pending only the Final Thesis, or Final Thesis plus a maximum of 9 ECTS credits

  • This opportunity is particularly suitable for recent Bachelor’s or Official Master’s graduates with limited prior internship experience.

  • Expected start date: May–June 2026. Candidates must be fully available to begin full-time during this period

  • Duration of the program: 6 months + 6 months

  • Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

  • Location: Madrid
