About the Role

Revenue Operations Analyst Summer Intern

Overview: 

The Revenue Operations Analyst Intern will support the team through CRM data cleanup, reporting support, and project based initiatives that improve process efficiency and data accuracy. In doing so, the intern will contribute to stronger operational insights while gaining hands on experience through meaningful projects that support both team goals and their professional development. 

Project Scope 

  • Support CRM data integrity initiatives, including ensuring contracts are accurately attached and reflected within SFDC opportunities to maintain reporting accuracy and revenue visibility. 
  • Contribute to a revenue leakage project by assisting with data analysis, identifying process gaps, and supporting corrective actions to improve revenue capture. 
  • Help manage operational workflows by assigning inbound email and termination cases to designated Revenue Operations support team members to ensure timely resolution. 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations stakeholders on ad hoc projects and process improvements that enhance reporting, compliance, and overall operational efficiency. 
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and project components, with guidance from team leads, while developing independent problem solving and analytical skills. 

Deliverables/Milestones 

  • Cleaned CRM dataset with validated contracts 
  • Revenue leakage analysis summary 
  • Improved case routing workflow documentation 

Success by the end of the internship will be demonstrated by improved CRM data accuracy, streamlined case routing processes, contributions to revenue initiatives, and the intern’s ability to independently manage assigned operational tasks. 

Learning Objectives 

  • Develop advanced proficiency in Salesforce through hands on reporting, data validation, and system optimization projects. 
  • Gain practical experience in sales performance reporting and analytics, including building dashboards, identifying trends, and translating data into actionable insights. 
  • Understand the sales lifecycle and revenue operations process, including pipeline management, forecasting, and contract workflows. 
  • Build exposure to contract review and commercial terms, learning how pricing, discounts, and deal structures impact revenue and operations. 
  • Strengthen professional skills in cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder communication, and process improvement within a fast-paced business environment. 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Interest in Business, Operations, or Management Information Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, especially with data accuracy and organization
  • Familiarity with Excel or data tools; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams (email, Slack)
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
 
 
 

Location/Time Zone Preference: United States - Pacific Time Zone

This is an hourly, remote summer internship for college students, offering up to 35 hours per week at a rate of $20 per hour.
This role is available for our 9-week summer cohort running from May 18 – July 17.
